Joy Clarkson is a Research Associate in Theology and Religious studies at King’s College London. As an author, researcher, and podcaster, her work focuses on how art and literature engage and illuminate theological ideas in surprising and often profound ways, especially for secular audiences. She is a books editor at Plough Quarterly and hosts the popular podcast Speaking with Joy, which explores topics of theology, culture, and literature. She is the author of Aggressively Happy: A Realist’s Guide to Believing in the Goodness of Life. She loves a good novel and a strong cup of Yorkshire tea.
